EFFICIENT CLASS-D DESIGN
Small size, minimal heat and lots of power — Class-D amplifier design offers significant advantages. And our NexD switching technology adds even more, using enhanced pulse width modulation techniques to boost the amplifier’s bandwidth while minimizing distortion and improving efficiency.
CLEAN, POWERFUL, RELIABLE
With a choice of 500- or 1000-watt versions — stable to 2 ohms, or a 1500-watt version stable to 1 ohm — the RD series offers a variety of models to drive your subwoofer. The high-efficiency design enables them to run cooler and put less strain on your electrical system than conventional amplifiers.
STUDIO-GRADE SIGNAL PROCESSING
For easy setup and interface with your speaker system, the RD series features a 12-decibel/octave low-pass filter, with continuously variable frequency selection from 50–500 Hz and a variable bass boost EQ.
LED CLIPPING INDICATOR RINGS
An LED clipping indicator ring that surrounds each input level potentiometer lets you quickly and accurately set your amplifier’s input sensitivity, without the need for additional test equipment.
AUTOMATIC TURN-ON FEATURE
This helpful feature, selectable between signal sensing and DC offset sensing modes, comes standard on all RD series amps.
AUDIO TECHNOLOGIES
DIFFERENTIAL-BALANCED INPUTS
Combating induced cable noise, this technology allows for the use of conventional RCA cables while delivering many of the benefits of a true balanced connection and accepting a wide range of input signal levels.
