Pairing full-frame 6.5-inch or 2.75-inch woofers with 1-inch silk dome tweeters, the C6 series drivers offer advanced sound technology for an exceptional car audio listening experience. Passive crossover networks are not included with the C6 drivers, as they are designed for active systems.
DMA-OPTIMIZED WOOFERS
Proprietary motor, suspension and cone modeling systems are employed, resulting in reduced distortion, improved transient performance and stellar sound quality. The woofer’s center cap is designed to optimize its high-frequency response for seamless tweeter transition.
SILK DOME TWEETERS
An edge-driven pure silk dome tweeter design, when paired with the C6 woofer, produces sparkling detail with excellent off-axis response and damping for balanced coverage in your listening environment. An automatic, solid-state tweeter protection circuit minimizes the possibility of tweeter failure.
DESIGNED FOR ACTIVE CROSSOVERS
A high-quality tuning Digital Signal Processor (DSP) — such as the TwK® DSP or a VXi amplifier with built-in DSP — is recommended. Using individual amplifier channels for each C6 speaker enables the system designer to achieve precise setup of equalization, delay and crossover filters for optimal in-vehicle performance.

Benefiting from years of woofer design experience, the robust JL Audio C6 series component speakers feature purpose-engineered cast-alloy frames outfitted with our patented Elevated Frame Cooling technology to enhance airflow, power handling and audio quality.
POWERFULLY ADAPTABLE
On a wide range of car audio applications, the C6 series speakers deliver superb sound when powered by your amplifier in the 25- to 150-watt range. The woofer’s oversized voice coil offers extended power handling capability while minimizing thermal compression and distortion at higher volume levels.

A 2.75-inch midrange C6 speaker offers exceptional transient response and outstanding linearity, resulting in unsurpassed clarity and natural midrange reproduction.
1-INCH TWEETER
Premium C6 tweeters feature an edge-driven pure silk dome diaphragm for smooth, high-frequency performance with remarkable off-axis response and damping.
